The Founders
AMÉLIE THÉPOT, PhD
President
PhD in molecular and cellular biology, Amélie has worked more than 15 years in tissue engineering. The various French and international companies or laboratories she has worked led her to cancer research and cell therapy on several types of tissue. It is by working at the Hospices Civils de Lyon alongside Dr Odile Damour that excellence and innovation in cell culture have been instilled. In 2014, eager for new challenges and thanks to the know-how bequeathed by her Professor, she embarked on entrepreneurship and co-founded LabSkin Creations. Being surrounded by motivated and talented employees is what makes her most proud!
MORGAN DOS SANTOS, PhD
General Manager & CSO
With a PhD in Molecular and Cellular biology from Lyon University, Morgan has been developing for the past 18 years a high expertise in skin tissue engineering and 3D bioprinting. Originally trained in Ed. Herriot Hospital, one of the largest burn centre in Europe, he then moved to the cosmetics industry in which he actively contributed to the development of disruptive innovations in the fields of skin bioengineering, and skin care actives for dermatological and cosmetic applications. After 7 years in China, working on Asian skin fundamental research, he co-founded 2 biotech companies in the field of personal care testing and regenerative medicine, LabSkin Creations and HealShape, respectively.
